5.5 - The Edition Toolbar

On the right side of Unfold3D, you will find the following buttons:


Key   Command Description
  Selection mode Switch to selection mode.
  Select and translate mode Switch to this mode to select submeshes, polygons, edges or points and translate.
  Select and rotate mode Switch to this mode to select submeshes, polygons or edges and rotate.
  Select and scale mode Switch to this mode to select submeshes, polygons or edges and scale.
F5 Point edit mode Switch to point edit mode - holding down the Shift key will allow you to select several points under the mouse pointer.
F6 Edge edit mode Switch to edge edit mode - holding down the Shift key will highlight edges under the mouse pointer.
F7 Polygon edit mode Switch to polygon edition mode - holding down the Shift key will highlight polygons under the mouse pointer.
  Island edit mode Switch to island edition mode to select submeshes.
(space) Clear selection Deselect everything. Note: all operations of selection/deselection are undoable. If you accidentally clear your selection, you can undo (Ctrl+Z) your action.
V Edge to edge path selection Switch to path selection mode - holding down the "ALt" key will allow you to select a path from the last selected edge to the position of the mouse pointer.
B Bidirectional path selection Switch to two way path selection mode - holding down the "Alt" key will allow you to select a path extending the highlighted edge.
Alt+P Pin selected Switch to pin constraint mode will allow you to pin all the points you have selected
Alt-Shift+P Unpin selected To unpin all the points you have selected
Alt-Shift-Ctrl+P Unpin all To upin all the points on your mesh
Alt+H Horizontal constraint Makes selected edges horizontal
Alt+V Vertical constraint Makes selected edges vertical
Alt-Shift+C Clear constrained edges Remove constraints on selected edges
Alt-Shift-Ctrl+N Clear all constrained edges Remove all edges constraints
H Hide selected polygons Hide selected polygons from view. They are not deleted from the mesh. You can use this feature to hide submeshes or parts of your model to be more at ease to select your cutline.
(Ctrl+H) Unhide selected polygons All previously hidden polygons are made visible.
(Shift+H) Hide unselected polygons Hide unselected polygons from view
